“Four Feet, Two Sandals”

My youngest brother is 8 years old, so whenever I’m free on weekends I take him to our public library. My parents used to take my older brother and I when we were younger and I love going back to the library and seeing what has or hasn’t changed. Of ocurse things have changed but it’s always fun to see old books that I used to read when I was kid. Last weekend I found a book called “Four Feet, Two Sandals.” This is probably one of the cutest books I’ve ever seen. The story takes place in an Afghan refugee camp, it’s about two little girls and how they each find a sandal. The story goes on to describe what has happened to them and what will happen to them and it describes a beautiful friendship between the two girls. If you have a younger sibling, a niece or nephew, a kid, babysit or whatever it’d be a good gift. If you don’t feel like purchasing it go to the library and check it out, hey check the book out yourself and just read it yourself- its actually a nice little good short read.
