Something to Ponder

Have you ever realized how as a whole we all lack sympathy, well then I guess it’s just me But when was the last time you went to go visit your friend? Or when was the last time you picked up the phone to call a friend and ask how they are doing or how everything is going? Or you can be even simpler,when was the last time that you e-mailed a friend and asked how they and there family are doing. I’ve noticed that friends and even family are becoming so much more distant. That they could actually care less about how a friend, or family is doing as long as it doesn’t have anything to do with there lives. A simple Du’aa for them is not said and the thought of talking to them and to see how they are doing is completely out of the question. I think this is something we all should try out. Maybe the best time for this would be when we are upset, sad, angry, or even when we don’t even know how we feel, we should go on and ask a friend how they are doing. We should listen to them so they know that we are there for them and they have someone that they can share there feelings with. Remember to all ways think of others and to place others in your thoughts and not simply just yourself all the time, because you never know what your last act may be, or what your last impression may be, or when your time will be up. Well that was just a thought I had and thought to share it with you all, you should try it what’s the harm? Who knows maybe this will inshaAllah help out our Ummah and help us all become more united as well. -radf -
