What about the Children?
July 29, 2006

Sadly everywhere we look in the world, there is some sort of trouble. We hear of all th civilians being killed, the family’s going through all of the pain, but the ones who are completely innocent are the children. Africa has the world’s highest child mortality rate, and the Congo’s have a higher rate than the rest of Africa. The Congo’s had a civil war that ended a while ago, but the disaster and problems it left behind is killing off its people. Its been reported that approximately 1,250 people die each day in the Congo’s from hunger and amongst other diseases. Every two minutes a child dies in the Congo’s of a preventable disease. There are many articles that tell of stories of the children who pass away, reading those articles i literally felt my heart melt inside of me. The kids are UNDER the age of 5, that’s when there still completely innocent. I mean i have a little brother and like a million Little cousins and ok, lets not go there. The city is also flowing with orphans on the streets, with no care or protection. Well once again some more a lot of Du’aa is needed, and we should all be pretty damn thankful.
